A paragraph from “Lighthouse is my Home.”
The sea is my blood. Tides are my time. I am a watcher. Lighthouse is my home.
The sea waves are receding. They resonate to my systole and diastole. Here is the lighthouse; there is nothing more than waves and water.
I am alone in my lighthouse. Here the lights obey me. The sun and the moon favor me. I left my home long ago to go to the sea. A lighthouse found me. I am tied to the lighthouse. The faint light glitters like casinos and the bars. I fish out of the sea, and it has sustained me.
Anther paragraph from “Lighthouse is my Home.”
After I returned home I had developed fascination for the sea. Some wanted to be mathematicians and scientists. I wanted to a sailor. After I passed high school I decided to be a merchant. I bought a ship and sailed from Boston harbor. I carried woods and tea to trade in India. I had two companions me, captain and my business partner. Business was going alright and I was making enough money. I looked at the sea even though it was just water. I felt every drop of it was my blood. I was happy for my life. What would I do without you the sea? What would I do without the sea?
Another paragraph from “Lighthouse is my Home.”
Nikita and the lighthouse still flashed in my eyes. Every day I remembered her mermaid form and her golden her that sparkled with the rays of the sun and it gave me insomnia.
I had forgotten rules of this world. Money ruled the world. Every day people hurried to their work. People bought fishes in shops and cooked it. There were solar lights and warm heaters for the night. People wore ties and suits and gave lectures. Super bowls were organized every alternative years. There was only one moon at the sky. The mermaids and Treasure Island were myths.
Another paragraph from “Lighthouse is my Home.”
We were both restless before. Now we are together. I thanked the sea god from the bottom of my heart. I thanked him from every inch of my soul. Now we can live forever. Nikita is my treasure, and I am not going to leave her in search of other treasures. We can now live for centuries long. Every day we will love each other as if it’s our last. Every minute will be an eternity. We will catch fish in the sea. We will gaze at the waves from the lighthouse. We will be together at sunrise and sunset. I will watch her hair turn golden in sun rays. We will hold each other tight in the fireplace in winter. On every full moon in October, we will perform our rituals. Oh! Nikita, you are my treasure. You are my love. You are my life partner. You are my flesh and blood. We will be together forever. Someday we will be stars in the sky.
