The Intro Of Open Miracle Window
I looked out of the window. He carried a luggage and went through the pavements. His last words were, “I will come back few months later.”
Through the window I watched his shadow disappear among the trees. His walks were serene. He seemed as if he was in search of something. I wondered, “What could he be searching for while his true love is waiting for him to return home? Love hurts like piercing needles. I never spent a day without him. The view was serene. The mist had covered the trees. And a certain question hurt me, “When will he come back?”
I opened the door of my room and played piano. The key strung like a needle, and the sound from the piano disappeared among the mist of the trees. Probably the trees listened to my notes and understood my emotions.
I have seen a man’s fortune change in a single day. A man becomes a billionaire with a few junk ideas. A man becomes a president within a lapse of time. A man finds hidden treasures when he is lost in a sea. And to me, he is my fortune. I wished he would find what he is looking for while I pressed a piano key.
I went to the dressing room and wore every ornament I owned. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked dazzling, but beauty was no use when he was away. Then I looked through the window; among the trees, he had disappeared, and I thought about fortune and men’s fate.
