Kathmandu, August 17, 2026:
The NAIMA Auto Show 2026 wrapped up on August 16 after six days of exhibitions, new launches, and strong public turnout. This yearβs show had a clear focus on electric vehicles (EVs), sustainable mobility, and new automotive technology, giving visitors a closer look at how the automobile industry is changing.
The four-wheeler section featured 29 brands, including BYD, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Toyota, Kia, Nissan, MG, and Arcfox. The two-wheeler segment brought together 18 brands, with names such as Bajaj, Honda, TVS, Royal Enfield, Ather, and NIU.
Commercial vehicles were also part of the show, with brands including Chery Wanda, Karry, and Skyworth showcasing their products.
Another major attraction was the launch of more than 40 new vehicle models and product upgrades during the six-day event. Visitors got the chance to see the latest models up close and learn more about the technology behind them.
The strong turnout reflects the growing interest in automobiles, particularly EVs and newer mobility solutions, in Nepal. With a mix of new launches, established brands, and interactive experiences, the NAIMA Auto Show 2026 gave visitors plenty to explore throughout the six-day event.
